What did Micemedia provide

Like every big event the EAIE annual conference and exhibition comes with its own unique features and challenges. Due to the international nature of the conference and its participations focus on networking and making connections, many participants are online with multiple devices. Many of the EAIE’s session use polling/voting over Wifi, which relies on a strong Wifi configuration that can deal with heavy traffic at the beginning and end of the sessions. In between sessions people move from session room to session room and explore the exhibition in which many meetings take place, where exhibitors excitedly show their web presence and exchange files and presentations.

This makes a right configuration on roaming, room capacity and bandwidth management crucial. For this a Wifi network must be specifically configured and tailored to the specific needs of the event, instead of using the venues “standard” settings.
