Future Leaders Programme 2019
The FLP exists to create a network of young leaders that together can build a sustainable future for the consumer goods industry. The annual FLP Conference is where our network meets annually to engage in leadership sessions from key CEOs, thought leaders and innovators; peer-to-peer hands-on workshops led by internationally-recognised industry experts; external visits to see purpose driven companies in practice; and networking sessions attended by peers as well as industry experts and CEOs.Learn more about this event
The Consumer Goods Forum (CGF) will be hosting its annual Sustainable Retail Summit (SRS) in Berlin, Germany on 24th-25th October. This year marks the 4th edition of the two-day event, bringing together consumer goods industry experts and stakeholders to share knowledge and best practices on tackling some of the key challenges facing the industry today. Delegates can expect to delve into the pressing issues under the theme “Sorting Fact from Fiction and Addressing the Hard Truths”, as they paint an accurate picture of the industry today and the actions needed to overcome the principle hurdles.
The event is an annual gathering of young leaders from within the FMCG industry. Delegates travel from all over the world to learn what it means to be a great leader of a great company, with emphasis on building leaders for companies with purpose. In total, 130 joined the activities that ranged from CEO presentations, to crisis management workshops to discussions on what it means to be purpose-driven, insights into digital disruption and an exclusive Hackathon.The FLP exists to create a network of young leaders that together can build a sustainable future for the consumer goods industry.
The EACTS Annual Meeting is the largest cardiothoracic meeting in the world and provides an excellent chance to network with your peers. It has changed to a new three-day meeting format, but will continue providing the same high-quality and comprehensive programme as previous years. The Annual Meeting will offer a mixture of Techno-College, focus, and abstract sessions across all domains. Techno-College sessions will run for three hours daily, with live case transmissions, live-in-a-box cases, and keynote presentations. Improve your hands-on skills at the new EACTS training suit; a hub of great teaching, incorporating different educational formats that will provide a unique opportunity for skill enhancement. There are over 150 sessions to choose from, with ample opportunity to update your knowledge and to learn the latest techniques from world renowned leaders in all specialties. In addition to the scientific programme, the exhibition running from Thursday afternoon to Saturday will feature over 100 companies presenting the very latest in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular therapies, technologies, and related services. Industry partners will also offer a Satellite Symposia on Thursday and Friday.
